A letter to love, and how it changes our perception of time and distance, connecting us in beautiful ways.

Through this film, I use a hybrid of traditional paper animation and digital animation to evoke the image of a deep oneness between physically separated beings. Nature, the elements of water, earth, and air, are so grounded and true to us, they are unconditionally present. I wanted to illustrate a relationship in the same manner: something emotionally fluid, yet undeniably real, almost tangible. What truly connects us as people are things that run deeply within our earth and wildly throughout the universe. It is transformation, it is feeling, it is connection.
