Traditional collage, rotoscope animation and digital compositing
As the Art Director of the animation, I put together various mood boards and animation tests in order to establish a look that would match the tone of our main subject, Emily's story. I gave direction on look and technique for our experimental animator and our motion graphics designer.
Below are examples of collaged assets, iterations of the title design, a custom font I created based on Emily's handwriting samples, and a sample mood board for our final look.
